Automatic start of the SiDiary USB-stick without queries
Microsoft limited the auto-run options for programs on USB-sticks, CDRom's etc. by now. It's also possible to generally deactivate the auto-run option on older systems. Ever since Windows XP your system will ask you, if SiDiary should be started with the Autoplay-screen.
To avoid this query, SINOVO provides the user with the help tool 'SiDiaryPNPWatchdog' in order to start SiDiary without queries.
The set-up is simple:- Download this file on your PC: Watchdog.exe (122 kb)
- Start the installation by double-clicking the downloaded file
Now the file will be copied and filed in the program directory:
C:\Program Files\SINOVO\Watchdog\
In addition there will be a program link in your auto-run directory, so at the next reboot of your PC the program will start automatically. (At the first time you can start manual: Start -> all programs -> auto-run -> SiDiaryPNPWatchdog)
After that you only have to connect the SiDiary USB-stick with your PC and SiDiary will start automatically.
