Error message "SiDiarySmartSync required"

This error message may appear after an update of SiDiary, in case you did not execute the file ‘InstallUpdate.bat’, which is part of the update.

Solution: Execute the batch file 'InstallUpdate.bat' that is part of the update package, by doubleclicking it in the Windows Explorer. This file must be located in the programm directory of SiDiary and must be executed there.

The batchfile registers the required components, which you have copied to the SiDiary directory from the update-package.

Alternative solution: Click on 'Start->Execute> to execute the following command:

Regsvr32.exe c:programmesinovosidiaryinsidiarysmartsync.dll

It may be necessary to adapt the path (c: program files…) to your conditions, in case you did not accept the default SiDiary folder during installation.

Afterwards re-start SiDiary

Please remember that the path has to be enclosed in quotation marks, if it contains blanks.
